The below is a letter from our amazing Photographer, Kelly Jennings. It is a Donation Request in conjunction with this event.
**Please note the free picture print he is offering with the donations from the FCLL Members registered in the 2022 Spring House League Season.**
Dear Fish Creek Little League families,
We are reaching out to FCLL families regarding the photo weekend this coming Saturday and Sunday.
I have been contacted by a friend who has opened their home to a family from the Ukraine who had to abruptly flee the country due to the war. Her name is Mariya, and she is a professional photographer in the Ukraine and has fled to Canada with her mother, 4 year old son, and 9 year old daughter, while her husband and father stay in Ukraine. They arrived here with nothing but one backpack of items each. This weekend Mariya will be an assistant photographer for your kid(s) photos and will be helping ensure the day runs smoothly for everyone.
We would like to help Mariya and her family out during these tough times and as such I will be accepting donations on photo day (toys, household items, clothing, etc…). I am offering a free 4×6 print of your child(ren) with any donation brought in when you get your photos completed. There will be a space set up beside the sales booth for donations and I kindly ask you to let my staff know at the sales booth that you brought a donation in. They will ensure to mark you down so that all prints are completed.
These 4×6 prints will be added to your teams memory mate package and extra orders in the coming weeks.
Hopefully we have an overwhelming amount of support for her so we can also help other families in need.
