2025 COACH REGISTRATION

Thank you for volunteering with Fish Creek Little League!!!

This page provides you with basic instructions regarding the coaches’ registration process and required documents.

Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and On-Field Parent Helpers are required to complete the following:

1. Online Coaches Registration through TeamSnap
2. Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)
3. Child Abuse Prevention Training
4. Little League Diamond Leader Training

 

1. Online Coaches’ Registration

• Please CLICK HERE to complete the TeamSnap Online Coaches' Registration
  • This step must be completed yearly.

 

2. Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)

• An email will be sent within a week of completion of the TeamSnap Registration with instructions on how to complete this step.
  • Please note that this email will be from Sterling Backcheck.
  • **Please do NOT apply for this - someone will contact you with instructions for such.**
    • This step must be completed yearly.

 

3. Child Abuse Prevention Training

• All volunteers must complete this training online. There are 2 options to do so, only one needs to be completed.  The two different options are as follows:
  • (a) Little League "Abuse Awareness" course (formally USA Baseball), or
  • (b) Coaching Association of Canada/NCCP.
    • Little League "Abuse Awareness" link is https://www.littleleague.org/player-safety/child-protection-program/safesport-resources-parents/. Choose the "Abuse Awareness Training" link.  Click on "Create Account" if you don't have a Little League Training account.
    • SafeSport Canada is located at https://safesport.coach.ca/.  Volunteers must have a 'locker' account linked to an NCCP profile.  Volunteers must take the "Safe Sport Training". This option does not provide a certificate, instead the volunteer will need to send a copy of their NCCP transcript.
      • **Proof of completion must be sent to safety@fcll.ca.**
        • This step must be completed yearly.

 

4. Little League Diamond Leader Training

• All volunteers must complete this training online.
  • The link for such is:  https://www.littleleague.org/university/articles/diamond-leader-training-program/. Click on "Create Account" if you don't have a Little League Training account.
    • **Proof of completion must be sent to safety@fcll.ca.**
      • This step must be completed yearly.
